JERUSALEM (May. 11)
Matters pertaining to Israel’s security situation were discussed for three hours yesterday at a meeting of the Cabinet in which Chief of Staff Yitzhak Rabin and Deputy Defense Minister Shimon Peres participated. Another meeting devoted to political and diplomatic aspects of Israel’s security problems will be held by the Cabinet prior to Premier Levi Eshkol’s departure for his state visit to the United States at the end of this month.

It is understood that the Government may press for the adoption of compulsory or voluntary arbitration as a possible solution to the impasse.
