A five-day visit of an Israeli planning commission ended today with announcement of approval of a Turkish-Israel economic planning agreement. The agreement provides for an exchange of experts and preparation of economic planning projects. The Israeli planning experts visited Ankara and other cities as guests of the government.
Turkey will also conclude an agreement with Israeli firms on prefabricated construction of buildings in this country, Turkish Housing Minister Djelalettin Uzer reported today on his return from a visit to Israel. Calling the visit “very successful,” the Turkish Minister said he conferred with Israeli firms to invest in hotel construction in Turkey. He praised Israel warmly, and said he had been impressed by the sympathy of Israelis for Turkey.
