LONDON (Jul. 9)
Sir Barnett Janner raised again in the House of Commons today the question of victims of Nazi persecution not being able to submit claims for compensation before an October, 1953 deadline.
Sir Barnett urged that such persons should have the opportunity to submit their claims now. Replying, Selwyn Lloyd, leader of the House, remarked he understood that proposed amendments to the West German law did have a provision for hardship cases.
