Israel will spend between $300, 000, 000 and $400, 000, 000 in the next 10 years for the development of water resources, Prime Minister Levi Eshkol announced here today.

Mr. Eshkol revealed the plans for spending that amount on water resources when he addressed a visiting delegation of Bonds for Israel leaders from Chicago. He said the funds will be used for financing desalination research and plants, completion of the National Water Carrier, projects for the use of rainwater, and other programs.
