The next convention of the Zionist Organization of America, to be held in Washington beginning October 1, will have before it a proposed amendment to the ZOA’s constitution, permitting a ZOA president to serve three consecutive, one-year terms. At present, a president may serve only two consecutive one-year terms. A decision to recommend the amendment was adopted here yesterday, after a comprehensive discussion, by the national executive council of the ZOA, the ruling body between annual conventions.
