Jordan has blacklisted 44 foreign firms, including 10 in Britain, as well as others in the United States and West Germany, and banned imports of their products, it was reported here today from Amman. The firms were presumably blacklisted for trade ties with Israel.

The blacklisted British firms included a kosher butcher, a confederation of life insurance associations, a fruit merchant, the Peltours Travel Agency which sponsors tours to both Israel and Jordan, the Warburg bankers, and other companies. The other firms are located France, Greece, Holland, Belgium, Australia, Turkey and Nigeria.
