Shimshon Arad, former Israeli Consul in New York, arrived here today to take over the post of Ambassador to Mexico. He is scheduled to present his letters of credence later this week to President Adolfo Lopez Mateos. He succeeds Simcha Pratt, who has been transferred to a Foreign Ministry post in Jerusalem.
