Professor Solomon Lurie, the famed Soviet Jewish classicist and authority on ancient Greece, died in Lemberg at the age of 73, it was reported here today. Professor Lurie was the author of standard works on ancient Greece, mythology and philosophy, and a leading authority on Greco-Judean contacts in history. He had been on the faculties of Lemberg University and the University of Leningrad.
