The final edition of Sovietish Heimland, the Soviet Yiddish publication, as a bimonthly, appeared today on newsstands in Russia. Beginning January, the publication will come out monthly. The current issue contains an interview with Nathan Alterman, the famed Israeli poet, on the occasion of his 75th birthday.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
