Israel’s Cabinet decided at its regular weekly meeting here yesterday to restrict the construction of public buildings and office buildings, except in development areas. The restrictions, it was said, were aimed at the preservation of skilled manpower needed for the construction of housing for immigrants, as well as a curb on the possible inflationary effect of excessive construction in the country.
