Some 800 delegates from the United States and Canada will attend the 40th anniversary convention of Pioneer Women, the American Women’s Labor Zionist Organization, which opens here Sunday for four days of sessions. Speakers at the convention will include Beba Idelson, deputy speaker of the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament; Harris L. Wofford, Jr., associate director of the Peace Corps; Dr. Ellen Winston, U.S. Commissioner of Welfare; and Dr. Marie Syrkin, professor at Brandeis University and editor of the Jewish Frontier.
