Mrs. Arthur Lehman, Noted Jewish Philanthropist, Dies in New York

Mrs. Arthur Lehman, for many years honorary chairman of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York, and a founder and leader of the Federation’s Women’s Division, died here yesterday. She was 83.

Mrs. Lehman’s husband, Arthur, was a brother of the late Gov. Herbert H. Lehman and of the late Irving Lehman, judge on the New York State Court of Appeals.
