Edwin A. Goodman, a Jewish attorney has been named by Progressive Conservative leader John Diefenbaker, head of the Government opposition, as campaign chairman for the Canadian general elections to be held on November 8. Mr. Goodman, 45, is active in the Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University and other Jewish and Israeli causes. Mr. Diefenbaker, former Prime Minister, will try in the elections for a comeback, running against Premier Lester B. Pearson.
