Massachusetts’ two Senators, Edward M. Kennedy and Leverett Saltonstall, Gov. John A. Volpe and Mayor John P. Collins of Boston joined in congratulating the Jewish Times of Brookline on its 20th anniversary.
Sen. Kennedy, in a message to Publisher James Kahn, Lauded “two decades” by the Jewish weekly “of outstanding service to the citizens of our state.” Mayor collins praised the Jewish Times and “its reputation for accurate reporting, keen editorializing and recording and reviewing the exciting history of the past 20 years.”
