Download PDF for this date

Representatives of the Government and various private and public Israeli employers agreed on steps here today to encourage the return here of Israeli professionals who complete their studies abroad. It is understood that more than 4, 000 Israeli engineers, economists, biologists and other professionals are still abroad after completion of their studies.

Among the steps agreed upon were the streamlining of methods to bring together prospective employees and employers, the participation by employers in the housing expenses of returning professionals and the stationing of representatives abroad authorized to sign contracts with professionals. The Government agreed to supply the employers with bimonthly lists of Israeli graduates seeking employment here.
