A new school to be known as the Edward and Anna Mitchel Adult Workers College, was dedicated here in ceremonies addressed by Minister of Education Zalman Aranne and Yehoshua Levy, treasurer of Histadrut, the Israeli federation of labor.
The school is the latest of a series of Israeli educational institutions endowed by Edward Mitchel, a Los Angeles philanthropist. The college will provide special courses for workers and housewives.
