Only 1,500 Jews Reported Left in East Germany; Most of Them Aged

There are about 1,500 Jews left in all of East Germany, with 850 of them living in East Berlin, the New York Times reported here today. Most of the East Berlin Jews are over the age of 55, the dispatch from West Berlin reported.
