A ten year progress report on America’s only chartered institution of higher education in Israel was submitted here to Vice-President Hubert H. Humphrey in his offices by representatives of Bar-Ilan University located in Ramat Gan.

A specially struck medallion commemorating the University’s first decade was presented to the Vice-President by Edward Adams, close friend of Bar-Ilan, in behalf of Dr. Joseph H. Lookstein, of New York, its acting president, who was ill and could not attend. Joining the presentation were Matityahu Adler, Bar-Ilan’s director general here on a visit, and Harold N. Blond, director of development.
