BRUSSELS (Aug. 8)
An international conference of Jewish journalists took place here yesterday parallel with the World Jewish Congress assembly which is being held here. The position of the Jewish press in various countries was discussed by the participants.
Attending the conference were journalists from eight countries, including the United States, England, West Germany and Israel. The opening address was delivered by Philip Slomovitz, editor and publisher of The Jewish News, Detroit, who is a delegate to the WJC assembly. Mr. Slomovitz is also a vice-president of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
