A group of 12 leading members of the American Jewish Congress who participated in the plenary assembly of the World Jewish Congress held here, left today for a 21-day trip to six countries in East Europe to study conditions of Jewish life there. They will visit Czechoslovakia, Poland, Rumania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia. The group is led by Will Maslow, A.J. Congress executive director.
Mark Turkow, general secretary of the Latin American executive of the World Jewish Congress, was today refused a visa to visit Poland by the Polish Consulate here.
