The YIVO Institute for Jewish Research announced today publication of the first guide to current research in the social sciences and humanities on Jewish themes. The guide is an index of doctoral dissertations and masters’ theses accepted by American institutions of higher learning during the 1963-64 academic year.
The guide is the first project of the YIVO Clearinghouse for Social and Humanistic Jewish Research, a project to record works of scholarship on Jewish topics and to make this information available to scholars generally.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
