A $10,000 grant from the Charles E. Merrill Trust of New York was awarded here this weekend to the Leo Baeck Institute for research on the history of German-speaking Jews in Europe. The grant will make possible the analysis, cataloguing and preparation for study of the institute’s growing archives.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
