The United States Embassy announced here today that the first two weeks in November will be “American Fortnight” at Israel’s newest and biggest department store, the Shalom in Tel Aviv. The Embassy stressed that the aim of the event was to promote American-made products in Israel.
A wide range of such products will be on display for the event. The store will use about 20,000 square feet of floor space for a special United States pavilion. Additional “American Corners” will be located in each department.
