An initial allocation through an emergency fund for Israel raised by the Joint Palestine Appeal was increased by two thirds this weekend by a contribution totaling $3,000,0000 by the Rothschild banking family, according to press reports here. The Rothschild contribution, given to the emergency fund set up here to help Israel during the current crisis, raised the initial total of the fund to $7,500,000.
