President of Catholic University Gets Degree at H.U.C.-J.I.R. in Los Angeles

Father Charles S. Cassasa, president of Loyola University, was awarded an honorary degree at the annual commencement exercises here of the Los Angeles campus of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Other recipients of honorary degrees included: Dr. Sanford S. Elberg, dean of the graduate division of the University of California, and Rabbi Henry Rabin, executive director of the Los Angeles Hillel Council.
