Labor Minister Yigal Allon announced in the Israel Parliament today that the Government and the Jewish Agency were setting up a special office to deal with the thousands of volunteers from abroad who came to Israel to offer their services during the Israel-Arab crisis. Mr. Allon noted that most of the volunteers were already working.
The Labor Minister also announced that those volunteers who planned on staying a minimum of two years and were in proper physical condition would be allowed to serve in the Israeli army.
