Harry Golden, American Jewish author, announced his resignation from the Student Nonviolent Coordination Committee “because of the increasing use of anti-Semitism” by that Negro organization.

Mr. Golden said he took exception to the pro-Arab and anti-Jewish line taken by the organization’s newsletter. “The cartoons in the newsletter,” he said, “are obscene and this comes in ill grace from an organization from which two Jewish boys. Michael Schwerner and Andrew Goodman, along with Mississippi Negro James Earl Cheney were murdered while doing field work for the Student Nonviolent Coordination Committee in Philadelphia, Miss.”
