Funeral services were held here for Eugenio Liebes, president of the El Salvador Jewish Community, who died at the age of 82. Born in Germany, Mr. Liebes came to this country in 1907 and became a leading businessman here. Active in all phases of Jewish community life, he served as honorary president of the Zionist Organization of El Salvador and as president of the Salvadoran Jewish National Fund Committee.
