British tourists who spent some time in the Soviet Union reported today on their return here, that, on June 7, when the Russian press campaign against Israel was at its height, the municipal council of Kaunas, capital of Lithuania, decided to expropriate the Jewish cemetery in the Slovodka suburb of the city. Jewish attempts to appeal against this move were unsuccessful, they said.
