Dr. Albert Sabin, the eminent American virologist, received today the honorary degree of doctor honors cause from Sao Paulo State University. He had previously received the State of Sao Paulo’s honorary title of public servant emeritus.
Dr. Sabin has been in Brazil since July as a guest of the American Jewish Committee and the Instituo Brasileiro Judaica and has delivered lectures before the medical faculty of Sao Paulo University and the Albert Einstein Hospital.
