An Israeli special emissary. Gen. Joseph Avidar, had a one-hour meeting with President Costa e Silva of Brazil today to explain Israel’s position on settlement of the Middle East crisis. Foreign Minister Magelhaes Pinto, who was present at the session, said later that the Latin American bloc would seek a solution to the problem within the United Nations.
