The State Department has announced it had “no evidence” that Arab embassies had improperly provided propaganda material to the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, the militant Negro civil rights organization which attacked Zionism in a newsletter last August, accusing Jews of committing atrocities against the Arabs. Ralph Featherstone, the group’s program director, was quoted at the time as saying that Arab embassies had supplied the organization with material on the Arab-Israel conflict.
