The first of four 76,000 deadweight ton bulk carriers ordered by Cargo Ships El Yam, Ltd. of Haifa will be launched November 1 at the yards of the Furness Shipbuilding Co. The new vessel will be christened Har Addir, Cargo Ships El Yam is the largest privately owned shipping company in Israel and operates a fleet of bulk carriers, tankers and refrigerator ships in world-wide trade.
