King Hussein will meet “informally” here with President Johnson on Wednesday, the White House has announced. A dispatch received here from Cairo reported that the Jordanian monarch was warned by Al Ahram, the authoritative newspaper which often reflects the views of President Gamal Abdel Nasser, that Egypt will “make it difficult for him, if not impossible, to enter into direct negotiations with Israel.” Al Ahram reported that a message to that effect had been sent to President Johnson through an American source.
