Cairo Announces Plans to Release Ships Stranded in Suez Canal Since June

The semi-official Cairo newspaper, Al Ahram, reported today that the Suez Canal Authority has completed plans to free 15 merchant ships of several nationalities that have been stranded in the Great Bitter Lake, near the southern entrance of the Suez Canal, since last June.
