Latin American Jewish Women Open Workshop Sessions in Buenos Aires

The International Council of Jewish Women opened its second annual Latin American workshop here today with a discussion on the role of Jewish women in Latin American communities.” Attending the four-day workshop are Mrs. Ronald Brown of Cleveland, president and Mrs. Susanna Frank of Sao Paulo and Dr. Rosa Herczeg of Buenos Aires, vice-presidents. Delegates from Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Uruguay and observers from Venezuela and Peru are attending the conference which is co-sponsored by the Argentine Council of Jewish Women. Some 600,000 women in 21 countries are affiliated with the social service organization.
