Jordanian guns shelled Kfar Ruppin in the Beisan Valley and also fired on Israeli military positions in the area last night, a military spokesman reported today. Israeli forces returned the fire in both cases. One exchange lasted for half an hour. The shelling of Kfar Ruppin, a frequent target of Jordanian guns, followed several days of relative quiet in the Beisan area, south of the Sea of Galilee.
