European Community Services Conference Adopts New Name at Meeting in Britain

The Standing Conference of the European Jewish Community Services has changed its name to European Council of Jewish Community Services. The new name was adopted at a meeting here at which the Central British Fund for Jewish Relief and Rehabilitation was host. The meeting was attended by representatives of 10 European Jewish communities. Guests included Louis D. Horwitz, director-general of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, and S. J. Kreutner, acting general manager of Keren Hayesod, fund-raising arm of the World Zionist Organization.
