United States today delivered 54 M-2 and M-4 Patton tanks to Jordan to replace tanks captured or destroyed by Israel. They were delivered by a Norwegian ship at the port of Aqaba. King Hussein was on hand as were U.S. diplomats when the ship was unloaded. The ship also brought 1 military transport vehicles and 4,000 tons of U.S. wheat.
