Ludwig Lowenstein, president and publisher of Aufbau, Jewish-oriented German language weekly newspaper, died Monday at the age of 70 while vacationing in Baden-Baden, Germany, it was reported here today. He was in the plastics and leather business here. Mr. Lowenstein became president of the New World Club, which publishes the Aufbau, in 1952.
