Italian Government Accepts Appointment of Amiel Najar As Ambassador

The Italian Government has formally accepted the appointment of Amiel Najar to be Israel’s new Ambassador to Italy. Mr. Najar was previously Ambassador to Belgium and represented Israel before the European Economic Commission. He succeeds former Ambassador Ehud Avriel who returned to Jerusalem to become chairman of the Zionist Council.
