El Al, Israel’s national airline, announced today that it has purchased its eighth Boeing 707 jet airliner, which is expected to be delivered at the end of January or the beginning of February. Meanwhile, El Al is operating a chartered plane to maintain its schedules. One of its planes was temporarily removed from operation after an attack on it in Athens last month by Arab terrorists.
