Israeli officials announced that an agreement for cooperation on tourism between Greece and Israel was signed last week, aimed at attracting American tourists to both countries. A similar agreement between Israel and Rumania provides that tourist offices of one country carries information about the other. This is the only bilateral agreement in effect between Israel and Greece, which does not have formal diplomatic relations with Israel.
