Illinois Governor Tells Bond Event at Executive Mansion That Israel’s Growth Must Be Aided

Illinois Gov. Richard B. Ogilvie, at an Israeli Bonds dinner at the Executive mansion here, urged Americans to support Israel’s economic growth as a means of strengthening the chances of peace in the Middle East. “The achievements which Israel has attained in the development of a dynamic young democracy,” he said, “must be continued uninterrupted.”
