The United Nations Human Rights Commission has still not officially received a petition by 55 Russian citizens protesting political trials, although others have seen the document, the Washington Post reported from the UN yesterday. The petition cites the imprisonment of Mr. Kochubiyevsky and the trial of Yuli Daniel, a Jew and Andrei Sinyavsky for publishing artistic works “critical of Soviet reality” abroad, correspondent Robert H. Estabrook reported.
