UJA Mission Arrives in Israel for Two-week Study of Problems

A group of 350 American-Jewish community leaders arrived here yesterday on the United Jewish Appeal’s 15th annual study mission headed by the UJA’s general chairman, Edward Ginsberg, of Cleveland. The group will spend two weeks in Israel and will be briefed by the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense and the Foreign Minister. The group flew to Sharm el-Sheikh to view the military base safeguarding Israeli access to the Red Sea.
