A $300,000 endowment to create a chair in Jewish and American law at Dropsie University here has been established by Judge Abraham Lieberman, a philanthropist of Weehawken, N. J., Dr. Abraham I. Katsh, president of Dropsie, said the endowment would make possible the study and teaching of the inter relationship of Jewish law and Hebrew jurisprudence and Israel and American law. “This professorship will open up new areas for students and scholars to delve into the history and development of Jewish and American jurisprudence,” Dr. Katsh said.
