An Israeli soldier was injured in an exchange of mortar fire with Egyptian forces in the southern sector of the Suez Canal zone. An Israeli civilian was injured near Hebron when an Israeli vehicle was fired on. Security authorities are investigating the incident. An Israeli Arab farmer was machine gunned to death today when his car was ambushed near Kahn Yunis in the Gaza Strip. The victim was identified as Yusuf Abu Dakka, 50, who left Gaza in 1948 but returned after the Israeli occupation in 1967. His death was said to be the fourth assassination in as many days of Arabs suspected of collaborating with Israel.
