Late News Bulletin Egypt Officially Calls for General Assembly Debate on Mideast

Mohammed H. el-Zayyat, Egypt’s ambassador to the United Nations, met today with General Assembly President Edvard Hambro and asked that a full-scale debate on the Middle East be initiated as soon as possible after the 10-day UN commemorative session ends. The debate is scheduled to begin Oct. 26.
