Umberto Terracini, the 76-year-old Italian Communist leader, said on television here that anti-Zionism is deteriorating into anti-Semitism and must be condemned. He participated in a discussion of anti-Semitism with French writer Jean Daniel; Sen, Giovanni Leone, and Italian Jewish leader Augusto Egre. Terracini also termed a drastic solution to “the Jewish problem” the policy of Arab governments of expelling their Jewish citizens and confiscating their property.
